This September VIVA Gallery welcomes potter Eric Friedericks as guest artist. Eric creates one-of-a-kind functional and non-functional pieces designed to be visually pleasing and useful in daily life. His work is an extension of a fascination with the process of pottery. The simplicity of form and decoration are all important. While creating his pottery, he works to be as environmentally responsible as possible, using waste wood for fuel and a minimal amount of electricity in his studio.

September 4, 5pm to 7pm, is our 1st Thursday Opening Reception. Help us welcome Eric. He will explain his process and take questions as part of the evening. Enjoy refreshments while you peruse Eric’s work as well as the work of VIVA Gallery member artists. All are welcome!
