Downtown Flower Basket Program Beautifies Viroqua with Community Support

The Viroqua Chamber of Commerce is proud to once again present the Downtown Flower Basket Program, a beloved Main Street initiative dedicated to enhancing the beauty and vibrancy of our historic downtown. Thanks to the generous support of local families, businesses, and organizations, downtown Viroqua is now lined with vibrant hanging baskets overflowing with colorful petunias.

Each basket, planted with a stunning combination of vista bubblegum, fuchsia, and silverberry petunias, was sourced locally from Hardy Vines, a trusted flower grower in our region. The ongoing care and watering of the baskets is provided by the City of Viroqua’s dedicated staff, ensuring our streets remain bright and welcoming all summer long.

This program is made possible entirely through the generous contributions of community members. Many donors choose to participate in memory or honor of loved ones, veterans, and cherished local leaders—transforming these floral displays into meaningful tributes that line our downtown with love and remembrance.

“The Flower Basket Program is more than beautification, it’s a reflection of the deep care and pride this community has for Viroqua,” said Allyson Servais, Executive Director of the Viroqua Chamber. “Each basket is a living tribute, and together they make downtown feel more alive, welcoming, and connected.”

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the following individuals, families, and organizations for their support:
