VIVA Gallery is excited to have Leanne Poellinger as our guest artist in April. She
works with paper in her meticulous, very colorful pieces. You have to see them! Her
work is fun, interesting, and unique – all overused words, perhaps, but these words
definitively apply! She is inspired by botanical images but is mainly attracted to
colorful images that allow detailed ‘painting’ with layers of small pieces of paper.

Leanne lives in La Crescent and is a mom to three grown sons. She is now
embracing and thriving in quiet time to play, explore, and create her art. She helped
to open the Children’s Museum in La Crosse, and recently retired from her position
as their Marketing and Development Director.

Leanne’s works will be at VIVA Gallery all of April. April 3rd is 1st Thursday Opening
Reception she will present a demonstration of how she works and explain her
process. The Opening Reception begins at 5:00 pm.

April 3, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm is 1st Thursday Opening Reception at VIVA Gallery. Make it an
evening out. Bring a friend(s) and together enjoy a tour of the gallery and our
guest’s work. Start the evening at VIVA and then go to dinner at one of the many
fine restaurants in Viroqua.
