Join us at Second Nature at Reads Creek nursery on the third Thursday of the month, May – September, for an open-air market.

At the July market, we will be having an All American Night of Fun with some outdoor games set up around the nursery. Let us take care of supper for you. The Fire Department will be serving food as a fundraiser for new equipment, and Udder Brothers Creamery will be serving sweet treats, so plan to come hungry and spend a few hours at the nursery to shop, eat, support local businesses, and enjoy some unplugged time in this peaceful venue.

Enjoy live music by The Guthries on the gift shop steps starting at 6pm. Feel free to bring a folding chair and cooler with beverages to enjoy while you relax by the waterfalls. Chef Joseph Meyer at 6pm under the nursery arbor for a presentation: “Bright & Fresh Appetizers,” complete with recipes and sampling.

You will find locally made hand-crafted items, baked goods, produce, art, and vintage products. Children will have tables set up to share their hobbies or items for sale, as well. We are excited to open up the valley to the community from 5-8pm, and lift up other small businesses in the area.
