Family-directed home funerals will be the topic of a free public program presented by Threshold Care Circle on Thursday, May 8, at 7PM, in the upstairs chapel of the Viroqua United Methodist Church. Kathy Doerfer and Susan Nesbit of Threshold Care Circle will explain what options a family has to be involved in the after-death care of a loved one. They will also talk about “green” or natural burials, and how they differ from conventional burials.
