We are also very excited to welcome Jason Fischbach, UW Extension’s Emerging Crops Outreach Specialist, on Feb. 4th. Jason will be joining us to talk about hazelnut selection, establishment, and production. He and other local growers will share tips on choosing the best cultivars, updates on plant availability, and answer questions from prospective growers.

Jason is making the trip to Coon Creek from Ashland, WI, where he leads the Upper Midwest Hazelnut Development Initiative. We hope you will join us at 6pm Feb. 4th at the Coon Valley Conservation Club to welcome Jason to the watershed!
