An Evening of Winter Stories
February 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
FreeOur first free public program of 2024 will be held on Tuesday, February 6, at 7PM, at the Vernon County Museum and History Center. For this program, we will enjoy an evening of winter stories.
Come listen to local people reading excerpts from books written by regional authors, such as Ben Logan’s memoir The Land Remembers, and Josie Churchill’s book, Among the Hills. These stories will focus on the joys and tribulations of a Wisconsin winter.
The evening will also include a presentation of the Vernon County Historical Society’s 2024 budget, and an opportunity for members to vote on it. Cookies and bars and hot coffee will be served. Everyone is welcome.
